Art and Interaction:
Our goal is to provide
hours of endless, evil (but ultimately harmless) fun to the BRC
community through interactive installations such as The Live Trap*
(a.k.a. Playa Gift Exchange) and the Playa Dookie Trebuchet (using fake
dooks, of course). LEP Consulting, Inc., has created a database of Evil
Genius, pairing Burners with their own Perfectly Evil Plan for Playa
Domination. Plans will be distributed, complete with diagrams, on
laminated trading cards, to Camp visitors.
We aren't a particularly kid-friendly camp,
as we are Very Bad Examples and spend the other 350 days of the year
doing our best not to ruin our own children. But we will produce special
Evil Acolyte trading cards for kids, and some of us plan to make a visit
to Kids Camp during the week if we can predict an hour of afternoon
sobriety. (Samples of these cards will be available online in a month-ish).
Camp members are invited to bring their art and Mutant Vehicles,
especially if they're in line with a lazy, mad-scientist (or just plain
lazy) theme.
Guerrilla art is encouraged, as long as it doesn't negatively impact
other art installations, or blatantly break certain BRC laws or
policies. We're still debating whether or not peeing on meditating
hippies at the trash fence is considered performance art or assault.
We'll get back to you.

the torch! |
